What is Eat to Heal Over 50™ Mastery?

Eat to Heal Over 50™ Mastery is a 6-month small group coaching and implementation program where I help you take back control of your health, reduce medications and avoid surgery. In this coaching class, you’ll learn what and how to eat, cook with confidence, squash cravings and make lifestyle changes that last.

Why Work With Laurie

In my 40s, my work, family and volunteer commitments took most of my attention. This may sound familiar: non-stop commitments, too much stress, not the best food choices (at least, not consistently), not enough exercise. because there was too much else to do.

I’d always been able to manage it all before. Next thing I knew, the weight started to add up and a multitude of serious health conditions and ‘ologists’ soon followed. Dietary guidelines and media messages around health and nutrition were inconsistent, delivering profits and not healthy outcomes.

Even hospitals were serving unhealthy food to their recovering patients. Sadly, most doctors don’t receive training about the connections between foods and health conditions. I needed to get past my symptoms and misinformation and get to the root cause.

I chose to learn all I could about why and how our food choices can either help us heal or make us sick. I’ve spent the past 10 years helping others, many over 50, to take back control of their health.

You have a choice to be healthy in the years to come … you just need the right health plan and support so you can do it successfully.

Frequently asked questions

What if I struggle with some of the content or have questions during the program? This is a group coaching program and not a pre-recorded course. I will be live with the group on Zoom each week to cover the course material and answer your questions live. If you are unable to make the live call, questions will be accepted in advance and covered on the call and/or in the community chat.

Is it too late to change if I already have a chronic health condition or disease? It depends of course but no, usually not. Fortunately, most chronic diseases get worse gradually over time. Many can also gradually improve. There are never any guarantees, but many doctors and likely yours have encouraged you to make lifestyle improvements to improve blood work, lose weight, reduce inflammation and increase energy. The challenge is knowing how and sticking with it. That’s where this program comes in.

I failed at diets before; why is this any different? This is not a diet; it is a lifestyle change that works with our body based on the foods that our bodies were designed to eat and upon which we thrive and often heal. As we enjoy these foods more, it becomes easier to crowd out the foods and habits that are no longer serving us. Many symptoms clear up quickly and good health is a powerful motivating force and reinforcement for making and sticking with new behaviors. Oh, and did I mention, the food is delicious!
